Has been working the more than 20 years in the Russian Parliament structures, dealing with problems of diplomatic and analytical maintenance of international parliament contacts, holding leading positions in the machinery of Soviet and Russian Governments.

Has been working as analyst in the prestigious academic Institute of the USA and Canada Studies, which is rightly considered as the Russian "RAND Corp." After the collapse of the Soviet Union spent 3 years as a Deputy Director of the "Lukoil" Corporation Office in Istanbul (Turkey). Married, has a daughter.
