A GREAT MANY CHANGES have taken place throughout the world since the end of the 80-th. The "cold war" that followed up unbelievably huge financial and intellectual resources, mostly in the USA and USSR, came to its end. The communist era has since sunk into historical oblivion.

These positive changes do not mean, however, that unclouded future is automatically guaranteed for our descendants.

To have an effective partnership in XXI century, we need not only rely exclusively on the interaction between the Presidents, the Administrations and other branches of government, but also we have to expand communications and increase understanding between legislatures and other leaders of nations.

THE "RUSSIA-USA: XXI century" PROGRAM is launched in 1998 to represent and promote policy and economic interests of Russian groups and companies in the USA and American groups and companies in Russia.

THE "RUSSIA-USA: XXI century" PROGRAM is also aimed to support the activity of DUMA-CONGRESS CAUCUS that have set up in 1997 to tie relationships between legislatures of both nations.
